Organic Kalamata Olives in Herb Oil
Our
organic Kalamata olives come from the southern Peloponnese in Greece. The olives are harvested once they have developed their deep purple color and their full natural aroma. This is how authentic
Kalamata olives typical for this region are created.
After harvesting, the
Kalamata olives are carefully processed and marinated in our own
Kalia olive oil. We then refine them with a mixture of traditional Greek
herbs.
Garlic, oregano, rosemary and a touch of
chili give the
Kalamata olives in olive oil a pleasant and slightly robust flavor.
We deliberately avoid vinegar. We also use only
Kalamata olives with their pit. The pit protects the fruit and helps the olives remain juicy while keeping their firm texture.
